Kefauver Park

Kefauver Park is located on Mason Lane, and can be seen while traveling South on Highway 411.  Community members and visitors alike are invited to enjoy the following year-round amenities available at the park:

  • Lighted & paved walking trail (approximately one mile)
  • Two pavilions (private events must be reserved)
  • Upper Playground and Picnic Area
  • Public Restrooms
  • Lower All-Inclusive Playground and Picnic Area
  • Tennis Courts
  • Basketball Courts
  • Volleyball
  • Fishing
  • Pickleball Court
  • Picnic Tables & Grills

In addition to the above-mentioned amenities Kefauver Park includes a football field and baseball field, both of which are utilized by the Madisonville Sports & Civic Club youth leagues.  

Houston Park

Houston Park is located in downtown Madisonville, and neighbors the Madisonville Public Library.  Houston Park hosts the following year-round amenities available to the public:  

  • Lighted & paved walking trail
  • Pavilion (private events must be reserved)
  • New playground installed in 2024
  • New splashpad installed in 2024
  • Basketball court
  • Playground
  • Picnic tables 
  • Public restrooms

Glenn Moser Memorial Park

Memorial Park is located in downtown Madisonville and was erected in honor of the late Mayor, Glenn Moser from a Tennessee Downtowns Grant project hosted by the Downtown Madisonville Alliance in 2020.  Memorial Park is available year-round for residents and visitors to enjoy a nice lunch outside and is also used for daily public parking in the downtown area.  In addition, the park hosts the following annual events:  

  • Food Truck Mondays in Madisonville (April-October) – Enjoy food trucks and entertainment on the first Monday of each month, 5-8pm.
  • Madisonville Farmers & Makers Market (June-October) – Shop farm-fresh foods and more from local area farms every Thursday, 4-7pm.
